If you actually read my last entry, you'll see that it's been deleted. I did this because my mom got really upset at what I'd written and called and we got into a big argument and I realized that what I wrote wasn't really a grown-up way to deal with my anger. I have this habit of ranting profusely and without much discretion. Granted, this is my journal, but that doesn't mean I should be blasting people...especially my mother...over the internet. I apologize for what I wrote.
On a positive note, however...she won't be moving back...yet, as far as I know. I'd already planned to clean both my and Kayleigh's rooms this week anyway, but now I don't have to rearrange everything.

So, the party was awesome...one would think a little TOO awesome. I wish we had more parties like it.
Saturday, I didn't go to any party. Denis and I spent a quiet night in. It was nice to do for once.
Sunday, I was going to see my dad, but faked a migraine in the knowledge that if I had to listen to my grandmother for more than 10 minutes, I would have one anyway. Another day in for me and Denis.
I finally got to see
pheonix18 today! She texted me while I was in class (which was ok, he didn't see me text back lol) to make a lunch date. I wound up skipping wines and spending a good two hours with her, but it was great to do a little catching up, cuz it happens so rarely nowadays. We must hang out some weekend!
Tonight is the school dance...summer thing...and I get to throw pies at my friends in Student Council. Yay!

I'm so freakin tired, it's not funny. In fact, I'll probably pass out right after I write this.
I got my hair colored, as I mentioned on Thursday. Pic to be posted momentarily. It's a very nice shade of red...kinda burgundy-ish. My mom actually liked it o.o.
( the best pic I could get so far...Collapse )
I just want this week to hurry up and be over...and it's only Monday. I have a paper due tomorrow, a test Wednesday, a practical Thursday, and that's only in kitchens!!! By Friday, I'll NEED this party. Hell, I already do.
Other than that...nope, nothing going on, oh except April making me realize that I won't actually be out of school until, well, April -_-;;; fuck me.

I'm sitting here...not doing my Diversity paper that's due tomorrow, and not doing much of anything constructive, except skipping through LaunchCast.
It's ok...I'm half-tempted to skip out of CD again tomorrow, and turn in the paper on Monday.
I know, I'm a horrible person...but I'm a horribly burnt-out person. I've missed the 5 days I can get away with in kitchens, so I can't miss any more. I'm tired as hell, and it just doesn't stop. I *may* get a chance to sleep in on Sunday, but that's about it.
The next two weekends go something like this:
This weekend:
Friday-I'm going to Doug's so he can dye my hair...I can't do it well myself and I really want to change my hair. I'm thinking bright-ass red.
Saturday-Going to try to go down to Station Square to try out for Wheel of Fortune. I can add it to the list of TV shows I've tried out for and failed (like American Idol and Jeopardy...)
Sunday-May get to sleep in, but I'll have to have Patrick pick us up and take us and Kayleigh home by 4, so my mom can pick us up, cuz we're going to her house to celebrate Kayleigh's birthday (which was yesterday, BTW).
Next weekend:
Friday-Doug's going-away party for those at school who are leaving for their externships at the end of this cycle. It should be fun :)
Saturday-I heard something about Denis' adopted niece (his deceased best friend's niece) having her birthday party, so I guess if it is, we'll be going.
Sunday-Father's Day...hell, I don't know if that means anything for me, other than Kayleigh spending time with her father...I know I won't see mine.
I really can't freaking wait til the 23rd...two weeks off! (Yeah, like I'll get rest then either...)

You are... 0% unique and 24% herdlike
(partly because you, like everyone else, enjoy writing).
When it comes to friends you are popular. In terms of the way you relate to people, you are wary of trusting strangers.
Your writing style (based on a recent public entry) is conventional.
Your overall weirdness is: 10
(The average level of weirdness is: 27.You are weirder than 14% of other LJers.)
Find out what your weirdness level is!
In other news...making mini cheesecakes for Kayleigh to take to school for her birthday tomorrow. May be going to a cookout at Tina's cuz her bday is tomorrow (or thursday?) too.

While I wait for my dad and grandma to pick me up for Mel's baby shower, I'll recap so far this weekend...
We went to Del's Friday...it was ok...but I'm getting sick of the DJ giving favortism toward his little posse so that the rest of us don't get a chance to sing. I also don't like that when I put in a certain set of songs, he picks and chooses which songs I will be singing. Last I checked, the KJ's job is to play the songs that the person puts in...in any case, I had a nasty headache by the time I had gotten to my third song and wanted to leave.
Yesterday, I went to the Sammich Shop, as usual...waited forever to get food, as usual, and left at about 11. Went downtown to the Box Office at Theatre Square to pick up tickets...our friend Doug works for the Cultural District and had comp tickets to "Amish Burlesque" that he couldn't use, so he told us we could take them. I picked up the tickets and stuck them quite firmly in my back pocket. Picked up a bus to the Waterworks, picked up my bus pass for this week, and called my uncle to find out (even though my grandma had told me a bunch of times) what the gender of my cousin's baby is, so that I could go get the shower gifts. After I got off of the phone, I checked my back pocket...the tickets were gone. I don't know if they fell out on the bus, or en route through the Waterworks, but in any case, they were gone. I went to Wallyworld and picked up the shower gifts, then took a walk around the liquor store to do some research for Wines class (omg there are too many brands of wines out there!). I got a sample of some very nice vodka, and decided to go to Chili's to treat myself to lunch. Got a salad and one of those nice big margaritas, which made me feel better about losing the tickets. Wound up at Bath and Body Works and got this nice passionfruit shimmery lotion for $5...which was cool. Went home and got ready, went back to Bloomfield, etc.
Now I have an hour before I get picked up. I'm not exactly looking forward to the 1 1/2 hour drive each way between here and Indiana...I'm making sure I have my CD player and a nice long book...maybe I'll re-read The Half-Blood Prince or Eragon...

Lacuna Coil ROCKED!!! Brianne, Dave, Denis and I had an awesome time, and they played my three fave songs of theirs!
This afternoon was...well...stressful...well, no. More like annoying. Patrick sent me a text saying that Duff was doing autographs at 1:30, before his demo. I figure, "Ok, I can get an autograph, then hit the bus to go to S&S for Marta's graduation....WRONG. We were still standing there waiting for him at 1:50, so I decided to leave. I was 15 minutes late for her commencement (granted, I know I didn't miss much...I was there for the important parts). After that, there was a reception outside, so we got snacks and then went to Marta's grandma's house (after a few detours). They invited me to dinner, even though Marta was not going, but I told them I needed to get home so I could get ready for the wedding tomorrow. Her dad was nice enough to drop me off downtown so that I could get my stuff so I can go home and give Andrea her camera back.
I've been fighting a migraine all day...this sucks.
